The Furmen are a primitive humanoid steppe-people who inhabit the Primitive Lands of Mongo, somewhere between Arboria and the northern polar region.Ming the Merciless' son Kang had been banished there by Flash Gordon and made himself a mighty chieftain and trained these Furmen as powerful warriors, often invading and raiding neighbouring Arboria.Kang's son Sheng, born in the Primitive Lands was of mixed-heritage.
