The Power Men were a group or race that were employed in the underground electrical works beneath Ming the Merciless palace on planet Mongo.They were humanoid appearing aliens dressed in blue, green or red working suits and masks.

When Flash Gordon and his companions entered their realm he incited them to rebellion against the emperor to join the Freemen and leave Mingo City for a place far away from Ming's tyranny they called Freeland.
