Talon was the son of Vultan a Prince of the Hawk Men of Mongo and a friend and ally of Flash Gordon in the 1996 Flash Gordon animated TV series. Interestingly, in Flash Gordon: Invasion of the Red Sword (2011) by Ardden Entertainment, Talon was reimagined as Vultan’s daughter.[1] In In Flash Gordon Quarterly (2024-2025), Talon is portrayed as a man of nine and it is said that Talon is his childhood nickname, his real name is Vultan the 2nd.
